Englisch

Oh yeah, this thread is a great idea.
I tried to write a couple of sentences in an english forum about snooker. I hope the people will understand my old School english. There was no practice in speaking, so i have forgotten many words. The other people in this english forum...oh i think they had a big grin in the faces, while they are reading my posting. I think they are very amused, but none of them was consternated. Puh, where is my dictionary???
You can disabuse me.... about my english!!!
      Hey Everybody!

Does anyone of u read books in english?
In school my first book i had to red (correctly written?) was Harry Potter, this time i hate it, but today i like it (the movies, not the books).

3 years ago i do my A-level in english about "the graduate" and "the first saddlers and the declaration of independance ". Does anybody of u his A-level in english too? Which topics?
Hey, this is a great idea. I read a lot of books in school in english but also at home. The last book in english was Harry Potter. So, I understand written english very good but if it`s my turn to write or speak I always miss a lot of vocabulary.
Im a student and am working once ina a week at the library in a private university and there are a lo of people who can only speak english. And they ask me questions all the time, so I really have to practise more because of the embarrasment when you`re answering only with gesturing hands and feet
Oh no, I'm incapable to do my A-level...my school time is far away and a long time ago.
In the moment I'm reading an english autobiography about my favorite Snooker player Ronnie O' Sullivan. This book is very interesting, because this man is a supreme talent with a breathtaking flare. But i can't do this without my dictionary. Although some words aren't in it and I must guess the coherence. It brings a lot of fun for me and I recommend this book for all sport-interested people!
